PALM SPRINGS, CA

The Ace Hotel

Set in Palm Springs, California, near activities such as shopping and golfing, this unique hotel offers contemporary guestrooms with free wireless internet access, a spa and an on-site restaurant. King's Highway restaurant at the Ace Hotel and Swim Club serves American cuisine made with seasonal, organic ingredients whenever possible. In the afternoon, guests can enjoy a creative cocktail in The Amigo Room bar.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • We recommend bringing any travel essentials, plus outfits for all of our scheduled activities. This includes something cute for educational sessions, something stylish for dinner time, a swimsuit if you plan to hit up the pool, and of course cozy PJs for our workshops under the stars! But don’t worry, we’ll be sending out an email a few weeks prior to the retreat to let you know exactly what to pack.

  • Our 4-day retreat has a fully packed schedule. We recommend coming into Palm Springs early or making arrangements to stay later if you plan on exploring outside of the retreat agenda and timeline.

  • We highly recommend flying into Palm Springs International Airport, (PSP). It's about a 10 min drive from the hotel. The next major airports include:

    - Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) - 2.5-3 hrs away depending on traffic.

    - Ontario International Airport (ONT) - 1.5-2 hrs away depending on traffic.

    - John Wayne Airport (SNA) - 2-2.5 hrs away depending on traffic.

  • In order for you to get the most out of your retreat experience, no additional guests (2- or 4-legged!) will be permitted to join you. We want you to be able to fully connect with the other attendees and soak in all the education and relaxation without distractions. Think of this as a mini vacay for you and your business!

  • Yes! We will have vegetarian and vegan options, and can accommodate other dietary restrictions as long as you let us know about them at registration!

  • Check-In for Ember Retreat starts Sunday, Oct 13, 2024 at 4:00pm and officially starts at 5:00pm. It wraps up Wednesday, Oct 16th, 2024 around 11:45am. We recommend flying in with plenty of time to make it to the Ace Hotel and Swim Club no later than 4:00pm on Sunday, Oct 13, 2024 and flying out later in the afternoon/early evening on Wednesday, Oct 16th, 2024. SoCal traffic is unpredictable, so make sure you map the distance and time from your airport to the hotel. The last thing you want to do is miss out on the first day and be rushed to catch a flight on the last day.

  • All ticket purchases and payments are non-refundable but you are able to transfer your ticket to someone else within 48 hours of the retreat starting due to an emergency.

  • To maintain an intimate environment, a maximum of 50 spots are available.

Jamie and Piper met back in 2017 and immediately started talking about bringing a new experience to the beauty industry; one that would help hairstylists and beauty pros step out of their comfort zones and make big moves in their business! That’s when Ember Retreat was born. Since then, they have co-hosted 4 retreats together and each grown their own businesses to serve tens of thousands of beauty pros all over the world.

A visionary and leader in the hair industry, Jamie Dana transformed her behind the chair business as a successful stylist into inspiration for beauty professionals. Since 2016, Jamie has been changing the way hairstylists and beauty pros grow their businesses. Through her unique online programs, a strong presence on Instagram and YouTube, and global speaking engagements, she empowers hairstylists and beauty pros to unlock their full potential.
